Although some will have you believe that both French and Creole are the two official languages of Haiti let me tell you...
Haitian Creole is spoken by 100% of the Haitian population. Haitian Creole is spoken by virtually the entire population of Haiti.
French is... well... French is so "Bougie"
French is spoken by the Haitian "ZUZU" people.
If you plan to do anything in Haiti, you need to know a little bit of Creole/Kreyol.
French will get you a fancy hotel in Petion Ville but Creole will get you a cab ride there!
Kreyol pale, Kreyol konprann!
If you are planning a trip Haiti, learn some Haitian Creole... Unless you only intend to hang out in the "ZUZU" part of Haiti.
