We must arrange the sidewalks of hotels and restaurants in Haiti... Merchant and beggars should not be present when you leave a restaurant... You should not have 5-10 young people who come to ask you for money... It is important that I have security officer which can reassure the customer, who is able to inform the tourist as well...

Marriott Hotel Building its first ever Hotel in Haiti

Marriott Hotel is coming to Haiti.

Marriott International announced earlier this week that in 2014, the first-ever Marriott hotel will open it's doors in Port-au-Prince Haiti.

Marriott International president Arne Sorenson says:

"This hotel is one more signal that Haiti is open for business"

The new Marriott Hotel Haiti will have 173-room and will cost a whopping $45 million to build.
