You reply helps clarify the issue.American Airlines use a business strategy which is legal, therefore if we can find a company that can compete, than all Haitians would benefit.It is not unusual that this kind of tactics is used when dealing with third world nations.
Now Haitians need to learn how to sustain an emerging competitor to stick around long enough so that AA would have no choice but to compete.
Why can't we have a Haitian Airlines just like other nations?
Will Haitians support their own Airlines even if the ticket price is the same?
Will a Haitian Airlines offer better services to Haitians than American Airlines?
Does someone have an answer to those questions?
Until we do have an answer to those questions, then the status quo will continue.
Mabe this issue will bring us Haitians to the cruel reality: That it is time that we start to do something for ourselves instead of waiting on others to help us...
