If you are calling spirit airlines asking for a airline ticket refund for a recent reservation to Haiti make sure that spirit give you a refund for THE FULL ROUND TRIP RESERVATION...
Why?
I called Spirit because I purchased a round trip ticket for Feb 2010 from Haiti to FL
Port-au-Prince Haiti - Ft Lauderdale FL
Ft Lauderdale FL - Port-au-Prince Haiti
When I called Spirit Airlines to get a refund for the reservation which was canceled, the agent told me:
"Sir you will receive a full refund back on your credit card within 7 to 10 business days"
I thank him kindly but as I began to ask a few more questions, that's when I realized that he was only giving me a FULL refund for ONE TRIP, the flight from Port-au-Prince Haiti to Ft Lauderdale FL,
not for the ROUND TRIP
According to him, only that trip had been canceled!
I don't know how somebody can fly BACK to Haiti if you never left!
I made sure that Spirit airlines gave me a FULL refund the ENTIRE TRIP.
If you are calling Spirit airlines for a refund, or if you already called for a refund, Make sure you get ALL of your money back not for HALF the trip
