Elementary my dear! The Haitian flying public has handed American a monopoly and they use it to charge outrageous high fares to Haiti.

They are not stupid.

We are. I always patronize Spirit Airlines because if they leave the market, one will need a bank loan to afford to fly to a funeral to Haiti.
