Le Lambi is Beach Hotel, Le lambi is night Club, and Le Lambi is a restaurant, situated near Carrefour at Mariani, Haiti.
Le Lambi is one of the most famous place in haiti when it comes to entertainment.
It is said that Le Lambi was known in Haiti as a place to eat lots of Haitian conch (Lambi) and have sex Dominican women.
Haitians believe that lambi is an aphrodisiac, they believe that when you eat lanbi it increases your sexual desire.
Le Lambi was popular in Haiti because the local fishermen in the area used to sell their catch of lambi right on the side of the road as a FRITAY with a very spicy Haitian coleslaw called PIKLIZ.
Being that this area in Mariani Haiti had many night clubs like Cassablanca, Copa Cabana, Fiesta, and the famous "Kay Gros Manman", it is believe that every where you saw a 7-Up sign in mariani, you would find Dominican women there, including Le Lambi night club in Mariani.
Have you ever been to Le Lambi beach Hotel in Haiti?
Do you have any Le Lambi stories of your own?

Le Lambi has been closed since the quake.
We have Hope Alive! Clinic Ministries in Mariani and when we bring medical teams in country, this is where we stayed.
It is a 20 minute walk from Le Lambi to the clinic.(We have had 4 teams in since the quake, and stayed in different hotels.)
Staff are nice, keep an eye on your valuables.
(We had a camera stolen from the restaurant last year).
And be sure to order Lambi at the eatery a day before hand. You can still call out for the Lambi boat for fresh Lambi. If you notice a nice shower head in the bath, it is from one of our team members who installed a dozen ofthem.
No Dominican "ladies" we have ever seen there since 1998. Cola is cold. Salute!

Either you don't know the "area", or you don't know what you're talking about.
I'll be back to school you later.
I grew up in the "area"....

The Kinam Hotel is a remodeled Victorian Gingerbread-style mansion with thirty-six charming rooms, four luxury master suites and modern amenities with special Haitian touches throughout.

Here is what one person said about Kinam Hotel in Haiti:
"I can't think of any downside to this hotel.
Great location, great price, great facilities (both rooms and common areas), and great service.
Have stayed in some of PAP's more expensive options (such as the Montana) and actually preferred the Kinam."

Abaka Bay Resort Hotel Haiti is located right on the beach on the island of Ile a Vache, Haiti.
With sugar fine sand, crystal clear waters and no automobiles Abaka Bay Resort is an exquisite paradise.
Very exclusive and secluded, we pay attention to the smallest of details! Abaka Bay Resort truly is the lost pearl of the Antilles.
The views and accommodations are unparalleled including many amenities.
Renowned for our cuisine, the 3 buffet meals at Abaka Bay Resort will please the pickiest eaters.
Here is what one person said about Abaka Bay Resort Hotel in Haiti:
"This place could have been considered the best getaway place you can find in Haiti.
it is a secluded island, it has one of the best beaches I' ve seen, and......
well, that's about it. After 3 days/2 nights, what I remember most is the food that was far below expectations, and the hefty bill I got at the end of the stay.
Instead of a buffet, what we got (lunch and dinner) was simply a 3 course meal cooked for a large number of people.
Not more than 3 or 4 dishes (meat or fish, salad, veggies, and something like grilled macaroni to accompany), and the portions were restricted! Not what you expect to find on an island resort.
They definitely need to hire a better cook so they can vary their menu, and stock up on seafood, especially since there's a fishermen village nearby.
The rooms were nice by Haiti standards: large bed, a/c, fan. You need to be fit because of they are at the top of a long staircase.
From the top you have a great view of the ocean, which is nice to look at when you wake up in the morning.
Besides a walk around the island, there were no activities.
Except for the night before our departure, there was some music and dance.
I think the owners could improve things by organizing tours inside the island (that fishermen's village for example).
Last but not least, the boat ride to and from the island can be of concern to some people.
The boat was a bit too small in my opinion, and due to the fact that the waters can get quite rough quickly, they should invest in something larger.
Charging us separately for the boat ride was not very cool either, even if you consider the high price of fuel. If there's a charge, it should be included in the cost of the room, period.
To conclude, if you want some place to escape from everything, go there.
If you simply want to enjoy a nice stay at the beach, there are many other places that offer the same, much cheaper."

Mont Joli Hotel Haiti is located in Cap-Haitien, Haiti
Here is what one person said about Mont Joli Hotel Hotel in Haiti:
"birds eye view, and rhum punches to boot! As a frequent visitor to O'Cap, I loved nothing more than to relax along the pool at the Joli, rum punch in hand. The staff is courteous and outgoing.
Nicholas, the owner was always on hand buying rounds of drinks and encouraging guests to come with him to the local hang out, Lakay (which sadly burned down since I was last there).
Someone looking for the best hotel in the north, they will stay, or at least have dinner, at the Mont Joli. "

IBO Beach Club and Resort Hotel Haiti is located in Cacique Island, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Here is what one person said about IBO Beach Hotel in Haiti:
"I stayed at the Ibo Beach Club and Resort once about five yers ago. There are not a lot of tourists that go to that part of Haiti, so beach privacy with your companion is plentiful; furthermore, nudity is permitted.
The food was great and always fresh, some of the best rum drinks that I have ever had in Haiti were at this place.
Also, lobster was pulled fresh from the waters and prepared to order.
I highly recommend this place as a relaxing resort to stay at in Haiti.
However, this resort is north of the capital, Port-au-Prince, by about 45 to 60 minutes, with being in Haiti not the best of roads.
Therefore, shopping may not be the best here, so if you are spending a week in Haiti, maybe five nights here and one or two in the capital."

El Rancho Hotel Haiti is located in Impasse des Hotels, Petion-Ville, Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Here is what one person said about El Rancho Hotel in Haiti:
"My wife and I stayed at the El Rancho several times from 2001 to 2003. We found the hotel to be a very nice place to stay. The rooms were clean and very well furnished.
The food was great, the staff very nice and professional.
We only had one problem, on our third stay, a room a/c went out and they gave us a new room. There is a small casino there, a very large pool with a bridge over it, and a swim up bar.
The only problem is one that is found in all the hotels in Haiti.
That is that after the bar closes at about 2:00/am the are no drinks, soft or other wise, until the restaurant re-opens at about 7:00/am. So, buy a small styrofoam cooler, stock up and get some ice from the bar before they close.
that is if you're like me and wake up thirsty at night.
I suggested to the staff that they get a soda machine.
They said they would look into it. But the only machine I've seen in the whole country was at the airport."

Moulin Sur Mer Resort Hotel Haiti is a beachfront Hotel built around a mid-18th Century Sugar Cane Plantation dating from 1750 located in Route Nationale No. 1, Km 77, Cote des Arcadins, Montrouis, Haiti
Here is what one person said about Moulin Sur Mer Hotel in Haiti:
"I have been to Moulin at least 7 times.
Every time I come to Haiti to do mission work, our last day is spent relaxing at Moulin.
The beach, the pool, the food, all the ammenities makes it very relaxing for us after we have spent at least a week in a small village working with the Haitian people.
Moulin has great staff and will do anything for you.
The prices are great and I can't imagine coming to Haiti and not making Moulin my last stop. We even took a group of youth there this year and they loved it!"

I recently stayed at L'Hermitage in Pandiassou.
It blew me away! The setting was beautiful, serene and lush. My room was spacious and had 3 fans, which made up for the lack of A/C. The bathroom was huge, and the tub / shower was tiled.
Each room has a private balcony.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, with marble floors and balconies on both the first and second level.
A restaurant is just a short walk up the hill. I never expected to find a hotel like this in Haiti.
It is definitely secluded.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place.
