I would never ship my personal belongings via Fed Ex. in advance if I was going to Haiti, because I will never see them again.
I would ship my suitcases in advance via Fed Ex if I was travelling to some other selected countries, because I do not anticipate any major problems.
I can sue Fed Ex in court here if my suitcases disappeared in other countries, but I guarantee you it will be almost impossible if they disappeared in Haiti You can also receive empty suitcases, or boxes when you reach Haiti.
I have not been to Haiti in 25 years, but use to travel there often between 1974-1985.
It is almost impossible to run an honest business there even if you are a Saint.

American Airlines has been getting away with murders in Haiti, and it is time to stop them. They charge us so much money, and we are only two hours from Miami.
They also have some ridiculous rules, prices, and should cooperate with us if they want our business.
We are in a state of emergency, and AA should accept boxes.
I know when traveling to other countries you can FEDEX your belongings in advance to your desitination, but our country is so corrupted it is a big shame.
You can send a postal money order anywhere in the world except Haiti, and we do not have a good reputation.
I am not sure who is responsible exactly for this nonsense, but it needs to stop. It seems that we inherited it from the Nigerians, and the world does not take us seriously.
The kidnappers, crooks, thieves, rapists, and all the criminals should be hang at the stadium for all to see. I believe some of our leaders are getting their shares from each ticke that we purchase in Haiti, or abroad.
Those fat cats need to go, and make rooms for leaders who have the country best interests in mind.

What AA needs to do is to change their stupid policy about not taking boxes, only luggages on their flights.
Many people in the us want to take supplies to their own families since the UN is only focused on P-a-P. I think if we all join forces and say we will not fly AA until they take our boxes of supplies for our family, they will change that policy in regards to Haiti untill things settle down and some market are rebuild.
