Are you serious?
An airplane with no toilet from Miami to Haiti?
Do they give you a cup when you board the plane?
LOL

Sure. Unless you are very old or very young, or have a physical problem, it is not an issue.
We regularly send 10-12 people on LynxAir: three teams a year, round trip for each team, so six flights total.
It is a 3-hour flight with no bathroom.
We are sensible enough to not drink a lot of liquids prior to the flight.
Not a big deal.

Hi Woodring thank you very much for the latest news but, I would like to ask you something.
Why there is no direct flight from Orlando to Haiti?
I'll be waiting for your answer.
Thank you
Loverman

Well, there would probably be a direct flight from Orlando to Haiti if there was enough traffic back and forth to fill a plane on a daily basis.
If you want book a flight from Orlando FL to Port-au-Prince Haiti, you will probably have to connect to Fort Lauderdale International Airport or to Miami International Airport.
If you really want to know, you should try calling American Airlines of Spirit Airlines.

Starting June 20, 2009, Delta Air Lines will be adding flights from New York to the Haiti.
This will be the first time Delta Airlines will be Flying to Haiti in about 50 years.

Air Travelers to Haiti have been complaining about the lack of flights to Haiti and the lack of service they received when flying American Airlines to Haiti.
Delta airlines will start new nonstop daily service between John F. Kennedy International Airport and Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on June 20.
The last time Delta Airlines had regular flights to Haiti was about 50 years ago when Delta Airlines flew from New Orleans Louisiana to Port-au-Prince Haiti.
Here is a comment from Gail Grimmett, Delta senior vice president, in a recent news release:
"Delta's long-standing commitment to the Caribbean basin is now reinforced as we provide the growing population of Haitians in the tri-state area with more options to visit friends and loved ones in their native country."
So far there has been no mention of whether Delta Airlines will schedule flights from Miami International or Fort Lauderdale international airport to Port-au-Prince Haiti but there plenty of time for planning.
What do you think about Delta Airlines flying to Haiti?

I THINK IT IS VERY VITAL FOR AIRLINES TO HAVE DIRECT FLIGHTS TO HAITI, ESPECIALLY AT THIS CRUCIAL TIME. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITHIN THE U.S. WHO WANT TO CHECK ON THEIR RELATIVES WHOM STILL LIVE IN HAITI, ESPECIALLY IN MANY CASES PEOPLE IN THE U.S. WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND OUT IF THEIR FAMILY ARE STILL ALIVE.
ALL AIRLINES SHOULD NOW HAVE FLIGHTS GOING TO HAITI AND DIRECT FLIGHTS IF POSSIBLE.
ALSO THESE FARES SHOULD BE AT A DISCOUNTED FEE.

I AM REPLYING TO MS. BARBARA SMITH, AND AM IN TOTAL AGREEMENT.
I AM AT PRESENT TRYING TO RESERVE A FLIGHT TO HAITI BECAUSE I HAVE RELATIVES THERE AND HAVE HAD NO CONTACT WITH THEM SINCE THE EARTHQUAKE.
I FEEL THE AIR FARES SHOULD BE LOWERED DUE TO THE TRADGEDY THAT HAS HIT HAITI.

Can't wait till you do Newark to Port-au-Prince from 6am, 9am, 11am, 1pm&5pm direct or course and Miami to Port-au-Prince 5am, 9am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm&9pm and have the gate meet the plane. Also T-mobile is also coming to Haiti to takeover Teleco for us to have $10 Haitian per month HomePhone service and 3, 000 extra jobs at $16 Haitian Dollars per hr paid bi-weekly.And putting there Prepaid Cellular at .15 cents Haitian per minute. Can't wait for Delta to team up with T-mobile when we need to call our loved ones if there are delays while in the plane 30, 000 ft in the air using Cash or Debit

Is is try what you said about T-mobile coming to Haiti to takeover Teleco or is just a wish that you are making?
I was so excited what I heard the news that T-mobile is coming to Haiti to takeover Teleco, I hope you are telling the truth.

Yes I'm telling the truth Bill Clinton lives in Haiti since March 2009 and is in charge of everything look at your past Le Nouvelliste Newspapers. There's less violence more jobs and practically 18-24hrs per day of light have Faith in God and your country Luke 1:37 Nothing is Impossible with God.Look at Delta Airlines they haven't traveled to Haiti in over 50 yrs.Continental is coming next with Soutwest Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates and Virgin Airlines pretty soon the last flight to leave Haiti again will be 9pm come and leave the same day.Keep praying for your country and our Gourdes will surpass the US currency and be equal to the UK Pound

Welcome to Haiti! my family and our community would like to thank you. American Airlines need to wake up and stop the awful treatments and ungratefulness and monopoly they have in Haiti.
We are hoping you do a better job. Good Luck.

I'll definitely fly with them as long as they could provide a better service and be cheaper than AA other than that I'll stick with AA.

I read the article about Delta Airlines flying to Haiti from New York JFK airport.
it would be so nice for them to have some connecting flights via Miami of Ft Lauderdale international airport
because I live in Miami and I need an alternative to American airlines and Spirit.

This is awsome.
This means the end of American Airlines monopoly in Haiti, and better service to Haitian air travelers.
